I was trying hard not to buy any new books since I already have too many I need to read on my shelves, but I couldn’t help myself. I finally gave into all the hype, and bought This Savage Song. I’ve been dying to read it every since I heard about it and I couldn’t wait any longer! Since Sarah J Maas’s Empire of Storms is coming out soon, I preordered it and decided to reread the series #MaasMarathon. I had all the Throne of Glass books except the original book, and I decided to order Crown of Midnight too, since my ARC of COM was damaged after a run in with a rainstorm. (It’s a complicated story). Also I bought some highlighters I’ve seen a lot of people use in their bullet journals. I recently got a Leuchtturm 1917 notebook, and I’ve been having so much fun with my August spread so far!

I recently signed up to get an ARC of Leah Clifford’s Vial Things, and I’m super excited to dive into this book. I haven’t read a lot of books about resurrectionists, so I’m very interested in learning more. And Leah Clifford sent the sweetest letter thanking me for reviewing the book!

Half Price Books was having a sale, so of course I had to stop by and see what books I could pick up. Even though I was there recently, I was still able to snag a few awesome finds. I can’t wait to read these books, and I love how all of them go together quite nicely. Such a happy accident!

Hi y’all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog. Welcome, if you’re new! And how do you like the new look, if you’ve been hanging around for a while? I’ve been wanting to get back into blogging since graduation, but the beginning of June was a whirlwind of activity. When I finally had some time to sit at my computer and start blogging again, I just wasn’t feeling it. This didn’t make any sense, since I had been dying to reconnect with the book blogging community. It finally dawned on me that I needed a new start and thus a new look. I hoe y’all like the new design!

I started off July in the best way possible with a visit to Half Price Books. One of my friends mentioned that she had sold all her ACT, SAT, and AP prep books to Half Price Books, so I filled my big Ikea bag will all those old prep books that I no longer needed. I ended up getting $25! After selling my high school burdens, I searched the store for some books. And I’m very happy with my finds!

Once again, I apologize for the lack of posts. Senior year has been much more hectic than I expected, and I’ve found myself sleeping whenever I got a free moment. (I really need to work on that time management!)

Hey guys! I haven’t done a StS in forever which feels really weird, but I’m super siked to show you the books I got recently at the library. I actually just started finishing my other giant library haul, so I went a bit crazy and put a ton of books on hold. I, no joke, had to make 2 trips to the library & my car because I couldn’t carry all the books at once. Haha Yeah, I did indeed get a lot of weird looks, but I got tons of great books!
