tick, tick, tick, tick, tick
it’s almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life.

Oh my goodness! Can this come any sooner?? I just need to know what happens with Juliette, Warner, & Adam!! And, what is this about making a decision about Adam’s life?!?!! He needs to live!!!!!

Title: Scarlet

Author: Marissa Meyer

Publisher: Feiwel and Friends

Release Date: February 5th 2013

Cinder returns in the second thrilling installment of the New York Times-bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother and the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she has no choice but to trust him, though he clearly has a few dark secrets of his own.

As Scarlet and Wolf work to unravel one mystery, they find another when they cross paths with Cinder. Together, they must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen who will do anything to make Prince Kai her husband, her king, her prisoner.

YAY! I was surprisingly pleased with Cinder and I cannot wait to read how Marissa Meyer ties up Cinder with Scarlet. Plus, what is Scarlet’s connection with Cinder anyway??? Oh, and this Wolf guy sounds extremely interesting! Basically, I cannot wait to read this ASAP!

Title: Perfect Scoundrels

Author: Ally Carter

Publisher: Hyperion Books for Children

Release Date: February 5th 2013

Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the scion of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it’s that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting–or stealing–whatever they want. No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale’s family, all bets are off when money is on the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother’s billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there’s no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won’t let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother’s will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company’s fortune. So instead of being the heir–this time, Hale might be the mark. Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she’s willing to save her boyfriend’s company if it means losing the boy.

Just so you guys know I’m kind of obsessed with Ally Carter & all her books! Oh, and Kat & Hale are seriously one of my favorite fictional couples! Plus, NO WAY is someone going to get the better of Hale! Kat better help him and he better listen! Ahh!! It makes me excited just thinking about it! 😀

Title: The Reece Malcolm List

Author: Amy Spalding

Publisher: Entangled Teen

Release Date: February 5th 2013

Things I know about Reece Malcolm:

1. She graduated from New York University.
2. She lives in or near Los Angeles.
3. Since her first novel was released, she’s been on the New York Times bestseller list every week.
4. She likes strong coffee and bourbon.
5. She’s my mother.

Devan knows very little about Reece Malcolm, until the day her father dies and she’s shipped off to live with the mother she’s never met. All she has is a list of notebook entries that doesn’t add up to much.

L.A. offers a whole new world to Devan—a performing arts school allows her to pursue her passion for show choir and musicals, a new circle of friends helps to draw her out of her shell, and an intriguing boy opens up possibilities for her first love.

But then the Reece Malcolm list gets a surprising new entry. Now that Devan is so close to having it all, can she handle the possibility of losing everything?

I think this would be a refreshing read that I’d really enjoy. It sounds like an interesting contemporary with a twist. That twist being living with a mother Devan doesn’t even really know who is hiding some kind of secret. Yeah, I gotta find out what this new surprising entry is!

What books are you waiting on?

Perfect Scoundrels!! I read Heist Society some time back and finished it in one afternoon, IT WAS SO FUN ❤ After that, work started piling up and I forgot all about it so now that you've reminded me, I should get Uncommon Criminals before making a mad dash for Perfect Soundrels! Heard lots of nice things about Shatter Me and Cinder as well, hope we won't have to wait long for the sequels 😀
